Hello All,

My name is Brian Russell. I'm a experienced multimedia/web developer whose
worked in corporate, university, and nonprofit settings. I'm also a Linux
geek with a good amount of System Administration experience. Right now I'm
a AmeriCorp VISTA who service is done in about three weeks.

Also I've been podcasting for about a year now at www.audioactivism.org.
My blog and podcast focuses on media activism and finding ways for people
to make their own media. I volunteer on my local town technology committee
and work regularly to bridge the digital divide. I've met so many cool
people thru the Digital Divide website and email list. THANKS ANDY!

Right now I have a Asterisk set up at my house and I'm working on
configuring it when I have time. I have a Digum TDM400p PCI card installed
on this Debian linux box.

I'm very interested in this mobcasting project to find methods for anyone
to make their own media by using a telephone/cell phone in ANY country
regardless of class or economic status.
