Most of us are aware of the fact that there are several limitations of WURFL. To mention a few

1. It contains details of very less phones i.e. its nowhere near what one can call exhaustive list!!
2. As Russ had mentioned in one of his post, its Eurocentric
3. Might have incorrect information about phones (WURFL doesn't take any responsibility as far as accuracy is concerned)

A possible solution for aforementioned problems could be UAProf. Most GSM phone manufactures maintain details of their phones and this can be easily accessed by anyone. Whenever a person accesses a link various information about specifications of phone including user agent and link for WAP and HTTP Profile of the device is transferred. Once you get the link for profile of phone you can extract all the relevant information.

It contains specifications of Nokia 6681.I have tested it with other phones also like Nokia 3250, N91 and Motorola L2, works perfectly!!
