As Lead Android developer, you will join a small, tight-knit group bringing our
award-winning web-based cloud content management platform to mobile devices.

Android is critically important to Box, as a platform we know it's big and this
year it's going to be huge. We're looking for someone with the experience and
drive to take over our application development and build a team as the product
grows. You'll be in charge of everything from the the application architecture
to best practices to hiring members of your team. Our ideal candidate will have
extensive java experience, engineering leadership experience, and the drive to
learn from others in the organization and mentor engineers new to the platform.

of thousands of businesses. With our popular iOS devices, recent Android launch,
last week's $48 million dollar round of funding led by Andreessen-Horowitz and

cloud-based content across all devices. You'll be instrumental in defining that
category.
Qualifications
* Must be a senior or lead java developer (3-5 years of Java experience)
* Strong knowledge of related CS theory: MVC, OOP, threading
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working on or leading development for a complex Android application
a serious plus
* Demonstrated engineering leadership experience
