Description

This list is for the exchange of information between users and supporters of the Modula-2 programming language.

Although it was started as a support list for just the Mocka compiler (Modula-2 for Linux) the users have decided that it would be better to incoporate all Modula-2 systems no matter which platform they were written for.

Modula-2 is a too nice language to make distinctions between operating systems.

You should be using the VAL standard function: VAL PROCEDURE VAL(ConvertToType; Value : AnyPervasiveType) : Type; Converts a value from one type to another.
