The Meteor Orbit Determination Working Group was set up as a result of the first Europlanet Strategic Workshop on Meteor Orbit Determination, which was held in Roden, The Netherlands from the 11th-13th September, 2006. It's aim is to coordinate international efforts to produce robust techniques and software for meteor orbit determination, as well as the implementation of the Virtual Meteor Observatory (VMO). This Yahoo! Group is intended as a forum for discussion and communication between all individuals, parties and institutions, both amateur and professional, who wish to be involved in and contribute to the Working Group's aims.
