The WISE result is based on the updated albedo distribution found in that
survey, while JPL is using a simple H to D conversion. The 911 is an
estimate with an errorbar of around 10-20 objects (from the top of my head)
based on our best projections.

... It probably has to do with the conversion from brightness, which is the directly measured quantity, to diameter. WISE at least has the capability to...
