hi, great news about the upcoming release, i'm looking forward to it.
just wanted to mention something i came across yesterday: when i have an app
like
Midipipe or MaxMSP running, both of which set up their own virtual Midiports,
MRP does
detect the correct number of total midi ins and outs (including the virtual
ones) when it
starts up, but either quits (GUI version) or says "segmentation failed error
something" as
soon as i try to list the ports via "ports" command. it starts listing the the
IAC and the
physical ports and and then stops/quits.
if you want to check this just grab the free Midipipe app.
thanks for listening,
ax
