Actually, no, the quirk is still there.

I did find something interesting however. If I fire up clockworks, then
launch mrpshell, I can quit clockworks and it continues to work. If I then
change from 16 step to 32 step it quits working until I relaunch clockworks.
I don't know if that helps at all.

Of interest, I dont think randomize routine is very random at first. This
isnt a bad thing. Does anyone else thing the pattern you get on your first
"randomize notes" is a little catchy?
