RE: [mrrobot] Pls help me IR Detectors doesnt sense anything...it returns a value of 85 only..

It sounds like the detectors are fine (85 is the no-IR level) your LEDs are
either not on, in backwards, or not modulated at 40kHz.

we hav hacked the IR detectors (those inside the tin cans)& followed
all the instructions...

when both the Detectors & emitters (leads) are plugged to the board,
it returns only the value 85 or 84...left & right...regardless of
whether we covered it or not & the distance of how we covered it...

if we unplug the IR Detectors from the robot, the emitters return
the right values specified...

pls help me, wats wrong with the robot & what could we do...

thanks!!!
