But Jenn is living in Quebec city (about 3 hours East of Montreal). Does the STC
list any jobs or contracts from the Quebec city area? Does the STC have any
connections in Quebec city?
Jenn: if you want to connect with the Anglo population in Quebec city, look up
the Voice of English Quebec (VEQ-- http://www.veq.qc.ca/default.htm). They may
have some networking resources for you to help you connect to the Anglo
community and that can lead to English writing work.
But being a Quebec city boy myself, I can tell you that you'd best start
learning French as soon as possible. You'll get plenty of opportunities to
practice it because most of the population speaks little to no English. A person
with your English-writing skills should be able to find work fairly easily.
Enjoy!
