Re: [mtmd] Re:Summer 2008: Checking For An MTMD Pulse...

Simon here - was in the sunny Solomon Islands, now in New Zealand.

......yeah, still alive and kicking. Still use my MD8, though like Dave, haven't dusted it off in a few months due to family & church committments.

Hoping to get a bit more time later this year as I release some workload and maybe do an album.

Having said that, looking at my friend's setup on his PC, the MTMD has been left behind somewhat in the last few years.... but my MD8 is rugged, portable and reliable even if it doesnt have all the fancy software features!!!!

Rock on MTMD group!!!

Haven't used mine in a while (had a couple of kids), but plan to use it again once the little ones settle down a bit.

At $15 a pop, you can get 140MB discs on Amazon as well (TDK).  Thought I'd check to make sure my technology isn't getting older faster than I am.

My Yamaha MD4S is still the only thing with which I record. Love it. No great desire to replace it. :) ... From: "James" <callmeguilty@...> Reply-To:...
