Sorry to hear about your brother, life’s crap. I’m working as a research engineer at Edith Cowan Uni and yes it’s full time. We do mostly Short range digital radio, RFID and any thing else the academics dream up.

Hiyi Chris,
Yeah I'm doing ok, my younger brother passed away 2 weeks ago so it's been a
crap fortnight but yu get that. So where are you working now? Is it
full time?
I have an 8051 dev kit here that I must get stuck into soon however that PCB
mill sounds awesome, please keep us informed on the cost per board.
Regards
Mick.

How ya goin Mick
Taught myself how to use PICs because you can get more jobs with them. I'm gunna have to learn the 8051 as well because we are going to be using NRF9E5 and CC2431 system on chip radios at work soon.
Just out of interest to all of you out there, the school has just purchased a PCB mill, we can do 0.2 mm traces with 0.2 mm clearance with plated through hole vias. We will soon be taking orders, I don't know how much yet.
