On another note, I am thinking of using a DS5000 for something.
Anyone got practical advice on them, any software tools,
particularly for linux?

Gotta keep a bit active if your going to do any collaboration.

The DS5000 is an 8051 type micro with built in battery backed ram
an i/o in 40 pin dip.

You know people on the dark side? Interesting.

So what do you require a remote controled vehicle with authentic
diesel motor sounds?
