What happened to your "old stuff"??? Oh, and what's the big idea of being 10 minutes ahead of reality too!? I think the -dlpt=hex-address stuff only works on...
... I don't have it on me here (its on dads computer) ... Well it worked for me it wanted /dev/parport0 and i tried symlinking par0 and lp0 to it but no effect...
