** Hintergrund **

Nicht nur der zunehmende Wettbewerb zwingt Unternehmen dazu immer
effizienter zusammenzuarbeiten, Kooperation in Netzwerken ist auch für
die Innovationstätigkeit unverzichtbar (EU 2002 & 2003). Zusätzlich
ist die Prozessabstimmung besonders im Automobilbereich zeitkritisch
und essentiell für die Erfüllung von Aufträgen und in der Folge für
deren Wettbewerbsfähigkeit
letztlich unerlässlich (vgl. EU-weites Forschungsprojekt CrossWork
(CrossWork 2005)). Eine Unterstützung für das Design von
cross-organisationalen Arbeitsprozessen zwischen klein- und
mittelständische Unternehmungen (KMU) fehlt sowohl vom methodischen
als auch software technischen Standpunkt aus.

** Background **

Not only increasing competition forces companies to work together more
efficiently, cooperation in networks is also of importance for
innovation (EU 2002 & 2003). In addition the coordination of processes
in the Automotive Sector is time sensitive and essential for the
fulfilment of orders, and therefore of importance for the economic
survival of the companies (cfp. European research project CrossWork
(CrossWork 2005)). Support for Small and Medium size Enterprises
(SMEs) for the design of cross-organisational work-processes is
missing in terms of methodology and also from a software tool perspective.


** Ziel des Workshops **

Ziel des Workshops ist es, den aktuellen Stand der Forschung im
Bereich für kollaborative cross-organisationale Prozessgestaltung für
produzierende Unternehmen zu erheben. Außer-dem soll eine Verlinkung
mit Vertretern aus Wissenschaft und Forschung in den Bereichen
"Prozess Erhebung",
"System Analyse",
"Learning Organisation",
"Mensch Computer Interaktion",
"Intelligent Manufacturing",
"Software Agenten" basierte Koordination,
"Computer Supported Collaborative Work Environment" (CSCW),
"Verteilte Planung"
stattfinden. Die zwei Hauptaugenmerke liegen auf intelligenter
Software und Methodiken zur Unterstützung von Kollaboration und
Koordination in Unternehmensnetzwerken im Allgemeinen und der
Kollaborativen Prozessgestaltung im Speziellen.

** Objective of the Workshop **

Objective of this Workshop is
to highlight the state of the art in the area of collaborative
cross-organisational
process design for the production industry. In addition to this links
between industry
and research should be established. The topics under consideration are:
"Process Elicitation",
"System Analysis",
"Learning Organisation",
"Human Computer Interaction",
"Intelligent Manufacturing",
"Software Agent" based Coordination,
"Computer Supported Collaborative Work Environment" (CSCW),
"Distributed Planning"
The workshop will focus on intelligent software and methodologies to
support the collaboration and coordination in Organisational Networks
in general and for Collaborative Process Design in particular.
