Hi there
So I'm this 'lurker' Vance mentioned in his post. I signed up for the
Multiliteracies EVO session last year but due to work commitments I was unable
to contribute. However, I kept getting group emails and every now and again I
skimmed them to see what's going on. I was sort of floating on a periphery.
During the autumn edition last year, I 'randomly' read one of the postings - it
was about explosion of social media, with references to Clay Shirkey as well as
Turkle's research, into smart dolls among others, which was related to what I
was doing on the master's module in digital culture and e-learning at the time.
I was fascinated how the learning paths crossed and I am looking forward to more
such seemingly random occasions.
I hope you've enjoyed your session with Vance this year and I can assure you
it's just the beginning of the amazing journey.
Vance it was a great pleasure to meet you in person and I wish you good luck
with your projects. Hopefully see you soon, either online or offline!
Best wishes
Anna
