I'm wondering if the moderation policy and charter for mwm aren't being enforced
with a bit too much zeal.

As the one person who responded to that note about fraudulent recruitment, I
wondered at the time about the strictness of the moderation policy. This
subject came up in another writing forum detailing how a few recruitment scams
specifically target the unwary beginning writer. Granted, the original poster
was not clear this was the case. Still, as a nonfiction writer, I found it as
interesting as many discussions arguing the pros and cons of some arcane point
of fiction.
