Magnetmotorman has made a comment on Part III: Mylow's Magnet Motor Running with Bar Magnets: Mylow if you want to get lots of torque just add 2 more polypropylene discs to attach the magnets to..do not use aluminum and offset your magnets between discs and you will enough power to provide your house without being on the grid. HybridWaterMan2 has made a comment on Part III: Mylow's Magnet Motor Running with Bar Magnets: Mylow, have you tried adding a second set of stator magnets to the other side? Or does that throw it off? Seems like it would add more torque and or speed- just curious. Also, when you are assembling the rotor- do you test the placement of each magnet with a temporary glue, then permanently fix them in place?
