Hi Milo,
My name is Jason Owens, and I, like you, am a firm believer in the concept of permanent magnet motors. I am just a fourth-year student in college but I have spent over 5 years investigating and trying my best to understand the inner-workings of magnets and how they can be used as energy sources. One of my favorite references for my research was the Howard Johnson magnetic gate. When I started to experiment with various motor designs (I have built several full-scale prototypes to test 'concepts' of various magnetic interactions). Along with this, I also began to do some comparative research to find out what other people have done to design and build their magnetic motors. My ultimate goal was to isolate the "fundamental" mechanism that can allow a magnet to deliver energy into a rotating system. Once you read down the the fifth image, I'm certain you will see something that you recognize in your latest design :-). I am attempting to make contact with you because I believe that I may be able to assist you in understanding what these interactions are actually doing. Once we know exactly how to engineer the magnets, we can then design more powerful motors that take advantage of the effect(s) that we want.
