Christian,
I hope you're not taking the file naming literally. The "YYYY-MM-DD" implies the format, not as the file is to be literally named. Thus, an example would be "2008-03-20T18_24_00.txt". More emphasis is on the file's timestamped filename than the DATE metadata found in the file's content, so you will want to have the DATE metadata accurately reflect it's timestamped filename. Also, as the manual instructs, make sure the entry files to be imported are already stored in the "data" sub-directory of the weblog's directory.
A better way to ensure a cleaner import process with NB 3.3 is to run "nb -U all -u all". This will force the cache to rebuild. In the future I might have this implemented as "nb --force query all update". Where "--force" would be shorthand for "query all --update-cache".
The "--file" option is not intended for mass import, but might be useful in combination with the (limited) TIMESTAMP metadata variable, for a small set of entries.
As for help with translations, thanks for the offer. I'm lagging behind. I should probably get in contact with my original German translator first, but I'll definitely try to keep you in mind.

Subject: [nanoblogger] Importing Entries?
Hi,
I have a question on importing Entries in nanoblogger 3.3. As I
understood the manual, I have to create a file with the tittle
YYYY-MM-DDTHH_ MM_SS.txt in the data Folder of my Blog. The File needs to
have the Metadata. Now I should run nb -u all.
This does not work for me... The new entry is not added, but all pages
are generated new. If I run nb -c 1,2,3 -a it takes
not so long to add my entry, and it is added.
What I am doing wrong here? How can I import entries, not utilizing nb
-a to add an entry?
Greets,
Christian
P.S. I could translate the manual into german, if you like!
