Press Release: No Recession for Biogas Industry 2009. High growth for Biogas
Plants expected.

Environmental Markets like Water, Wastewater, and Drinking water, Waste, Air and
others Slowdown in 2009 worldwide by the financial crisis
The biggest projected slowdown in projects is occurring in North America with 22
percent, Europe with 16 percent, Eastern Europe with 45 percent, China with 19
percent, Japan
with 23 percent to name the leading countries in the world. Alternative Energies
like wind, solar and others will depend on the support and programs on the
governments around the world which are not clear yet. But Biogas Plant Markets
and the Biogas Operator Markets increase also 2009 worldwide.
Biogas Plant Markets Worldwide. 2009 high growth expected. (hkc22.com)

8.900 new plants will be built in 2009 with over 2700 MW worldwide. Asian is
leading with 34 percent and Europe with 26 percent, followed by NAFTA and
Others. Increasing investments in biogas businesses by energy companies

The world markets for Biogas and Biogas Plants increase since some years with 20
to 30 percent depending on the country. Biogas from by-products and combinations
is the most efficient form of renewable energy and therefore not affected from
the financial crisis like other renewable energy technologies. Biogas production
comes from at least three sources: agriculture wastes, sewage sludge and solid
domestic wastes.

8.900 new plants will be built in 2009 with over 2700 MW worldwide.
Asian is leading with 34 percent and Europe with 26 percent, followed by NAFTA
and Others. These are some results of a survey end of November 2008 by Helmut
Kaiser Consultancy with 145 experts worldwide. The survey updated a study for
the biogas plants market worldwide http://www.hkc22.com/biogas.html

The markets worldwide are expected with 25 billion euro by 2020 from 3 billion
in 2007. There is the development of a new industry worldwide: Biogas-Industry.

The amount of 800 million tons of waste produced every year worldwide has the
potentials for 64 billion cubic meters of biogas, which is the equivalent of 32
billion tons of gasoline or diesel fuel or 110 gig watt/hour of electric energy.

Dragon Power Co, China's biggest biogas - biomass energy company (50 power
plants) plans to build about 30 biogas power plants by 2010, with an estimated
total investment of 1.5 billion euro.

In Europe more and more operating companies are built and developed as the
priority is going from technology to business. The same in USA and Canada
currently 40 companies are operating 80 power plants in 20 states throughout
USA. Companies listing include Renegy Holdings Inc. and Covanta Central Valley
Biomass and more. Korean investment firm plans to build a multi-function corn
processing plant in Gowa, South Sulawesi, with an investment of US$ 300 million
in a project that it says with high profit potential.

There more and more Investment companies prepared to invest high values in
biogas markets. The key is the knowledge in biotechnology, molecular science and
optimization in the future for operators to make profit. Biogas is one of the
fast growing industries
in renewable industries. For more please see http://www.hkc22.com/biogas.html
