Description

Welcome to NASTRO

Northumberland Astronomical Society was founded in January 2000 and has approximately 40 members. We are a friendly and very active society. We have members with all levels of experience including beginners and professional astronomers. This is an email group is for NASTRO members who wish to post observations, ask astronomy questions, discuss telescopes, arrange observing evenings....etc. However, you don't have to be a member of the Northumberland Astronomical Society to join this group...just a night sky enthusiast!

Joining this group

Anyone can read messages but you will need to join the discussion group if you want to post messages.  Membership requires approval from the moderator but this is usually given quickly provided we think that you are not a robot trying to send spam to everyone. So, when you subscribe it would be helpful if you include some comments about why you want to join otherwise your membership will be denied.  Sorry for any inconvenience :-)

Wishing you clear skies,

Adrian Jannetta
