What makes our Photo Safari ~ Workshops unique?

While virtually every other tour company offers "photography" as a part of
an over all activity, our program offers an educational aspect. We strive to
offer the best in outdoor photography and related travel, which means we spend
more time at each location offering more in-depth photo exploration and
instruction. Our Workshops / Safaris are designed to get you to the best
locations and then get your hands and knees dirty while teaching with hands on
experience.

Our program is a concentrated and productive photography experience. Unlike
many other companies and outfitters that offer trips or tours that are best for
general travelers, nature enthusiasts and photographers combined, our Safari ~
Workshops are designed exclusively for nature and outdoor photography
enthusiasts. Our itineraries revolve around creating opportunities for
photography, unlike many tours where the photographer must search for time in
the itinerary to squeeze in a few quick shots, while the trip attempts to cater
to clients with diverse interests. Our Workshop ~ Safaris offer you more time in
the field on location to work on your photography. We can work with almost any
camera system made from 35mm to Medium and Large Format systems. We concentrate
on composition, technique and equipment use. We keep our student to instructor /
guide ratios low to afford you full attention to your needs as a fellow
photographer.

We gladly return to locations you favor while offering some secret spots we
have had great personal success with as well. We will take midday breaks for
meals and rest while the light is harsh and hard to work with. Our workshops
take place in altitudes from 7,000ft to 13,000ft above sea level. We will have
moderate to difficult hiking for almost every program we offer! In any case we
will advise you to the difficulty level and take appropriate steps to insure
your safety and physical ability.
