There's actually no gain being increased during the recording, is some
coincidence between the siren getting closer and the rain getting
stronger.
:-)

I used Oktava MK-012 mics straight into an Edirol R4-Pro and a tripod.
No filters and no limiting during the recording.
A bit of editing later to clean up few things.
The window is on the third floor of a victorian house; I think is is
about 7/8 meters high (7/8 yards more or less).
I was quite lazy as well to record it but luckily I was chatting with
a friend of mine and we had the idea to record the same stuff from
different places of the city.
Definitely I'm glad you were lazy last week as well, otherwise you
would be fluorescent now. :-D
