Designers and Engineers From Around the Globe Converge on Las Vegas for Fourth Annual SolidWorks World International User Conference
More than 2,000 users, resellers, and SolidWorks partners to discuss the latest trend-shaping technology and its impact on mechanical design
CONCORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 2002-- Designers, engineers, product managers, resellers, and partners from around the world will converge on Las Vegas from Feb. 17-20 for the SolidWorks World International User Conference and Exposition, the company announced today. Attendees will meet at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino to discuss ideas, trends, and the technology shaping the future of mechanical design. Keynote speaker Wil Schoenmakers, section head of "Cre8" (Global Design & Prototyping) at Procter & Gamble, will discuss how SolidWorks has become the global standard for designing everything from food packaging to healthcare and baby care products. Schoenmakers will describe how SolidWorks has reduced production time and costs while making the entire design process easier than ever before. The other keynote speaker is L. Stephen Wolfe, P.E. publisher and CEO of CAD/CAM Publishing, Inc. He will provide an overview of advanced engineering applications that are boosting the value of solid modeling and an action plan for CAD users who want to take advantage of them.
