Glad to hear of your peacewalk and focus on nuclear issues, testing, Yucca
Mountain, etc.

Not sure if Yamato explained the situation or not but it appears that since
the Global Peace Walk passed though Las Vegas in February 2000, I have
become a kind of persona-non-grata with the office staff of Shundahai and
perhaps with Corbin Harney as well due to my persistence in (unsuccessfully)
bringing to their attention/understanding recent scientific developments
with implications for solutions to nuclear waste problems, ie, the "Low
Energy Nuclear Transmutation (LENT)" and "Low Energy Nuclear Reactions"
developments reported over last few years by Hal Fox et al to American
Nuclear Society regarding the transmutation/neutralization of nuclear wastes
in lieu of burying them at Yucca Mountain.

I pushed to get Gary Vesperman of Las Vegas area and Hal Fox from Salt Lake
City to make a presentation to the walkers then and the Shundahai group but
they were not well received at their presentation there specifically because
apparently Corbin was ill-advised by his staff against these developments as
viable alternatives to burying nuclear wastes at Yucca Mountain.

I was told that Corbin's position was that he didn't think this research was
genuine and was afraid it is a subterfuge by DOE types to justify more
nuclear power plants etc. I first brought up this topic, as a prediction of
my Tetron Natural Unified Field Theory, in my brief remarks at a Shundahai
conference in Las Vegas where as a result of my talk and comments about the
new-energy technologies to replace nuclear and fossil fuel power, and
comments about Tibet, I met the science advisor to HH Dalai Lama for whom we
later conducted a briefing with some of the involved scientists in this area
and for Corbin who all came to UCSB in late May 1997.

My best suggestion for your walk is to again bring out the latest status of
developments in these areas in context of your walk's activities in Las
Vegas. Hal Fox's work is at http://www.padrak.com/ine and Gary Vesperman
(who is an engineer with vast technical research background in these areas)
is cc above. That website for the Institute for New Energy has links to
many other research organizations in this field. Their annual conference
begins tomorrow Aug.23 and you will note on that site "Reports on the
transmutation of radioactive wastes to stable elements" is among topics to
be discussed there. Should you have someone from your group there in Salt
Lake City who can attend the conference to get info that your walk can
promote, likely that person can get admission fee waived if necessary if my
name and this context is mentioned to Hal Fox directly there (he will likely
not get this email until the conference is over). I would urge Shundahai
folks to connect more deeply with Hal Fox on this info especially since
their office is now also in Salt Lake City.

Hopefully the new staff at Shundahai will better advise Corbin on these
matters now and he will understand better how this info can help solve these
problems. If so, I may yet get out of the Shundahai Doghouse :-)

If not, I will not be coming to participate. If so, I only live about 4hrs
drive from Las Vegas and with appropriate notice of interest, I could
perhaps also come and also make a presentation on these matters
while the walk is in Las Vegas.

If, perhaps as a result of your walk and such presentations in Las Vegas
with support of Shundahai et al, the general American Public via news
coverage, should get the info about these new developments this will go a
long way towards raising a public outcry about Yucca Mountain while these
LENT alternatives are available -- as well as about the availability subject
to ongoing "national security secrecy" suppression of the many new-energy
technologies that promise to make obsolete nuclear and fossil fuel power,
eg, recent patent issued to Thomas Bearden for his solid state oscillating
electromagnetic system "Motionless Electromagnetic Generator (MEG)" and many
others with which Fox and Vesperman are familiar.

These developments are supportive of the predictions I have been making
since 1976 consequent to my "theory" equations, predictions made before I
discovered any of the now vast amount of work by scientists and engineers
past and present whose research in these areas brings these technologies
daily closer to the fruition they can only find consequent to general public
awareness of them and resultant pressure on the Fed to relax secrecy
restrictions on them (hundreds have been ordered secret and confiscated
during patent application process and are among the 4000+ patents locked in
a vault at the patent office under such "dual-use" (civilian-military)
secrecy restrictions according to former patent examiner Thomas Valone as
per 1952 US Code secrecy order reprinted under FOIA in Jeane Manning's book
on these new-energy technologies called "The Coming Energy Revolution".

It disappoints and saddens me that the anti-nuclear activists are not
catching on to this info at all and are therefore as complicit in delaying
their implementation as is the US Government.

This also is the only permanent solution to the Big Mountain problem, ie, to
make the mining of coal obsolete for electric power by implementing these
new-energy technologies consequent to a massive public info/awareness
campaign. This is the same message I have been giving since our 1984 walk
to Big Mountain -- to no apparent avail -- from the Rainbow Family spring
gathering there in AZ. Curious that while I was there in '84 the Skylab
fell to earth and in the process blazed over Big Mountain covering over half
the night sky with flaming debri high up -- what a dazzling site.

In 1989 one inventor, Adam Trombly of Project Earth
http://www.projectearth.com, proposed his solid state generator as an
alternative for retrofitting four corners power plants so no need to burn
coal, at a cost approximating cost of smokestack scrubbers, but he only got
death threats in return. His machine was in constant operation proving it
worked, I understand from his phone call in 1997, for over six years. I
found out last year that it was destroyed by federal marshals in 1996 along
with the multimillion dollar laboratory of his then-partner in Oregon.

For DOE letter acknowledging some of the latest accepted theory in this
area, under auspices of "Zero Point Energy" technologies (deemed "...the
holy Grail of energy research" by DOE in that May 12, 1998, offical position
letter from DOE sent under order of the Secretary of Energy to William
Thomas of Proposition One in DC, you can follow the saga from the "energy"

I have had, it appears, more success in bringing this info to the
"authorities" (this is now fairly "mainstream" in DOE research circles
subsequently to these reports) than I have to "activists" who
for the most part ignore my pleadings for their help to get this info out --
over the past 25years of my devoted activism in these areas.

Corbin was not present during our 1991 "Rainbow Uprising Campaign" in Santa
Barbara for the week of events ending with the installation of the Hiroshima
Peace Flame at UCSB during which time Thomas Banyacya, Jake Swamp, et al,
met the late Bruce DePalma, a pioneer in this new-energy field, and saw his
machine and heard his message, had a heart to heart talk etc., after which
meeting the next morning in a new kiva dedication sunrise ceremony in SB
Banyacya offered his prayers for the success of this work. Perhaps if he
had been there he would today have more understanding and confidence about
my recommendation in this area.

My frustation these days is acute because of my failure to bring this
information realistically into the networks who can do something with it. I
notice from your schedule that you will be passing through the Hopi area. I
have put "wheels in motion" over the last year or so for a presentation of
this info there by Fox et al at some point, but only with a "we might be
interested sometime to look into this" kind of response from the HTC. Now
seems a good time due to publicity about plans for a new power plant on the
Black Mesa to burn more of that coal for electricity. The HTC will have
nothing to do with walks that go to or champion the Big Mountain issue,
however, which I see yours is not going to Big Mtn. There is a news media
interest in the situation there now, as you know.
