I had my 'filtered' scope on it yesterday afternoon.
It's fascinating to observe sun spots - and not as cold.

I was charging the battery on my laptop so I could try and do a capture, but by
the time it had charged the heavens had opened. :-(

Moral of the story - keep the laptop charged up - grrrr. I'm just waiting for
the clouds to clear now. Blooming Northumbria weather - arrrgg.

Hi,   Has anyone caught these new sunspots (see below) with a suitable filtered telescope as not to blind themselves?   The are fascinating in my Coronado...
