Maintenance of NewsML v1.x as an XML based format designed to provide a media-independent, structural framework for multi-media news.
This group is open to all who have interest in developing a standard for this purpose.
Please be aware of the successor to this standard: NewsML-G2 which is discussed on another Yahoo group.

The activities on this group are hosted and moderated by the IPTC.

Ah! Sorry. I don't think there's anything out there that converts from PDF to NewsML XML *specifically* but I could be wrong. Susanne
