Atik makes a 0.5 reducer but it costs much more than the Celestron unit. I think it would be difficult to reproduce a 0.5 focal reducer for less than $20. I...

Dont know of anything but I have a C.neximage reducer and dont use it.seems the image is really deteriated when I do use it.I loose a lot of detail with it. ...
