Description
Open user group for digital astrophotography using the Nikon D50, D70, D70s, D100 and D200.
Everyone interested in digital astrophotography is welcome to this group. Whether you already own a D series camera, are thinking about buying one or are just interested in in the subject, you are very welcome to the group.

***Photo Posting Guidelines - Please try to optimise your photos before posting. I would ask that when possible, you aim for file sizes below 50k. An easy way to do this is to use a tool like 'Save for Web' in PhotoShop Elements***

Hi, yes these are all "mode 3". The nights are so long here, that I haven't had time to process anything. But I certainly intend to do so when I get back home.

Duncan, Your shots look good. You ought to finish them off with some post processing of your shots. Did you shoot these as normal shots or did you disable

OK, I wish I could help. Depending on where you buy you might have two weeks to return it, if the noise is bad. If I get a chance I'll test one in a camera
