Hello

I am trying to use a lexar multi-card usb 2.o reader to transfer
pictures from a 512MB compactflash card onto my imac G5, which is
running panther 10.3.6

I am using a Nikon coolpix 950. I have found that the reader will not
mount when I try to transfer the images to my hard drive I get the
message that there is no card in the reader.

However I can see that the reader is properly attached via apple disk
utility. In fact I can even format the compactflash card using disk
utility (MS DOS) and then the reader mounts but when i take the card
out and put it back in my camera the camera does not recognize the
format so then i have to reformat using the card via the camera controls.

Then I can take pictures, but when I then put the compactflash card
back in the Lexar reader I get the same message again, that there is
no card there.

ANy suggestions?
