My 950 is from the same period, but I gave up using the Nikon cable. I now
just put the Flash card into a card adaptor (lots of models about) which my
laptop reads as a removable disc. Quicker and easier.

I bought a COOLPIX 950 camera in 2000 - serial 385999.

I lost my original NIKON software CD and I need a source of "download
software" for my COOLPIX 950 camera and I don't know how/where to get
it. The NIKON site does not seem to have the same program that
originally came with my camera. When I upgraded to WINDOWS XP, the
original software loaded to my HD was lost, so now I can't download
any pictures from my camera.

How do I get a replacement for the software that came with my camera?
