JRMC has smart playlists and lots of other abilities. Its one of the
most popular database/players out. It also interfaces with
Netremote/CQC or MusicLobby if you want a nice client based GUI.

I moved on to use Netremote/Girder5/JRMC for now home automation and 6
zone whole house audio setup.

Hi I do all those searches in iTunes. My main playlist is a "smart" search that searches for tracks played less than 2 times and genre does not contain...
