Dear Sir/Madame,
My fiance and I knew Jim Russ, and just recently found out the sad news
that he passed away. Brian, My fiance was given his first computer by
Jim. That is how we met. I had the brief pleasure of dinners and visits
with Jim after moving to New jersey from Florida to be with Brian.
I know I am not telling you anything new when I say that Jim was a very
warm and giving man with superior intelligence. I am sure that anyone
that knew him would say the same. The last we heard from Jim was that he
was going to his place in Pa. We drove by the house July 16th, and saw
both of his vehicles missing, and got concerned. A week or so later, I
called the Bridgewater police to see if they could tell me anything
about Jim, and they said that they had been asked by the family to watch
the house. They would say no more than that. We held on to hopes that
maybe he had simply taken ill while in Pa., and wrote letters addressed
to relatives of Jim Russ, addressing it to his home in Bridgewater. We
heard nothing back. Last week while driving by, we saw a huge dumpster
in the drive, and a man coming from the garage. We stopped and he told
us that Jim had passed, but little else. We are, of course deeply
saddened by this, and wondered if you could tell us anything further.
We will always miss Jim, and will be forever gratefull for his
friendship. He is responsible for our happiness together, and for that,
we could never thank him enough. Please send any information you can to
