1) The New Jersey Computer Club has received a very generous donation to our
NJCC Memorial Award Scholarship program from Adobe Systems Incorporated of
multiple retail copies of "Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 for Windows XP" and
"Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 for Windows XP". Each of these programs lists for
$100, but NJCC members may purchase them on a first come first served basis for
only $40 each (while supplies last)! Details on these excellent software

at our December 14th NJCC Holiday Party meeting.

2) The New Jersey Computer Club has also received a very generous donation to
our NJCC Memorial Award Scholarship program from Webroot Software, Inc., of
multiple retail copies of their award winning "Spy Sweeper". This program has
won the top award for anti-spyware software from PC Magazine, PC World, Smart
Computing, TopTenReviews, etc. There is excellent detailed comparison of it to

has a link to a detailed review of its own. "Spy Sweeper" is sold by Webroot
with a one year "subscription" for $38.90 (with CD and shipping), or $29.95
(with program downloading). The "subscription" includes all program updates, all
definition updates, and technical support (for one year). We are offering the
"Spy Sweeper" CD with a one year subscription to NJCC members on a first come

3) Our next NJCC meeting will be our Holiday Party on Wednesday, December 14th,
at the North Branch Reformed Church. This special meeting will feature:

A) Our Special Chinese Auction with fantastic new software, hardware and book
donations (for members only). Bring plenty of cash as there will be a lot of
great items available to choose from and bid on.

B) Our Regular Chinese Auction with member donations. Please bring Pentium
Level and Windows 98 (or later) useable hardware and software for this Regular
Chinese Auction. If it is NOT sold please bring it back home with you! We can
NOT dispose of unsold items at the church!

C) Please remember to bring your favorite holiday food, snack, or drink to
share with all on this special occasion. The NJCC will provide coffee only for
this meeting. Please also remember that the North Branch Reformed Church is a
NUT FREE FACILITY (due to potential severe allergic reactions of children). NO
NUTS OF ANY SORT can be brought into the facility in or with any food items.

D) Smart Computing Magazine will also make a presentation at this meeting.

E) We will need help starting at 5:30 PM to set up tables, chairs, and Chinese
Auction items. We will also need help in selling tickets. Please arrive early
and help us with this! The Special Chinese Auction (for members only) will NOT
be started until AFTER all set up is completed! At the end of the meeting we
will also need help with cleanup and closing the facility. Please volunteer to
help with one or more of these activities.

Thank you all in advance for attending and assisting with this special meeting!
