Doug Beck, Webmaster of the NJCC, spent about 90 minutes at the March 12, 2008 meeting of the New Jersey Computer Club showing many of the features of buying and selling items on eBay. Due to the many questions and strong interest of those in attendance, he was not able to cover everything he planned. A vote was taken and the consensus was to continue going through this topic at the April 9, 2008 meeting.

Doug graduated from Rider University at the Magna Cum Laude level with a double major in Computer Information Systems and Entrepreneurial Studies.  In his college career, Doug had some unique experiences, including an independent study that allowed Doug to learn how to effectively buy products from wholesalers, distributors and even some "inexperienced sellers" on eBay and then how to effectively market those products on eBay for resale.
