Meeting Wednesday March 11
Additional Meeting Info
The NJCC is entering a new era in meetings and presentations! Called "webinars",
"live meetings", "video conferencing", and other names, meeting presentations
can be made or viewed remotely.
For example, at our April 8th NJCC meeting the presentation will be on
"Backing Up Your Hard Drive" by Gene Barlow from his office in Saint George,
Utah.
We will be remotely connected by both video and audio to him, so that we can
participate in the presentation just like we were in the same room.
We also have the opportunity to have future NJCC meetings broadcast live to
NJCC members in their homes or elsewhere, with the opportunity for them to
participate in the meeting directly via audio or video.
Another potential opportunity is for us to participate live with other user
groups in their meetings or programs.
To give you a better understanding of this technology and how it works,
please come to our March 11th NJCC meeting by 6:45 PM to see a 30 minute
presentation on APCUG's "Live Meeting Training", followed by a short Q&A
period.
Time permitting before Rich Byrne's feature presentation at 7:30 PM on
how to run multiple operating systems on a PC, I will also share recent
experiences on warranties and tech service that I am sure will be of
interest to you.
Finally, if you have not yet paid your $25 NJCC dues for 2009, please
do so in order to participate in future NJCC programs and activities.
