We are sad to announce that Paul Natanson, long time NJCC member and contributor, has died after an extended illness.
His family has suggested that in lieu of flowers, people send contributions to a favorite charity. Because of Paul's dedication to the field of computers and their applications, certainly a most appropriate one of those charities could be the NJCC Memorial Scholarship Fund. This way, Paul's memory can live on in the works of others, especially young students who might otherwise not be able to afford to continue their studies.
As most of you know, this fund was established several years ago to help young people with financial need to pursue their dreams in this field. It was inspired by the generous giving of time and talent of several of our Club's founders who worked determinedly to make us all computer literate. As one of their test cases, I am grateful for what they have done for me, and for all of us at NJCC who even now continue to benefit from their efforts.
For those of you who wish to make a contribution, please write your checks to "NJCC Memorial Fund" and mail them to me, Doris Smith, at
Please mail these in as soon as you can, as we would like to get the card out promptly, and make the appropriate announcements at our next Club meeting.
