The November general meeting of The Albuquerque Astronomical Society (TAAS) will feature retired U.S. Air Force colonel and former astronaut, Sid Gutierrez. Sid was the commander of Space Shuttle missions STS-40 and STS-59. The topic of his presentation will be "Escape to Space." The meeting will be held on Saturday, November 8, at 7:00 p.m., and it will take place in Regener Hall on the University of New Mexico campus.
