Well, not really. But I blogged about nntp//rss before discovering
this group:
http://blog.crispen.org/archives/2006/05/10/news-in-news/
Btw, has anybody got nntp//rss to run as a service with jdk 1.5.0_06
and JavaService 2.0.10? I get it to announce it installed
successfully, it shows up in my Services applet, but when I try
http://127.0.0.1:7810/, it doesn't connect. Likewise for my news client.
Here's my command string (it's all one line, regardless of how Yahoo
hacks it up):
JavaService -install "nntprss" "C:\Program
Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_06\jre\bin\client\jvm.dll"
"-Djava.class.path=C:\Program Files\nntprss\nntprss-start.jar" -start
org.methodize.nntprss.Startup -current "C:\Program Files\nntprss"
Am I leaving something out? nntprss.exe works fine.
