I have a laptop using the 3945ABG NIC and I'm trying to connect to our
network through the Linksys Access Point with my Sonicwall Firewall
serving as the DHCP Server. The laptop sees the wireless network but
will not connect. The NIC sending beaucoup packets but receiving 0.
When I set up the NIC with a static IP address everything works fine.
I downloaded the lastest drivers and firmware for all devices in the
loop. Windows is fully updated as well. Other than writing a script
to maually toggle the NIC from DHCP to Static IP, does anyone have a
suggestion? I don't need a answer quick cause laptop is for a
salesman living in Baton Rouge and he won't be in very often. But I
have another one to set up for the owner of the company and it would
be a career limiting move if I don't come up with a decent solution.
