All,

our apologies for the XBox spam that was posted to the group
yesterday. The spammer has been removed as a member.

The norcalvex policies had been that only members can post,
but anyone can join.

Apparently, the Yahoo!Group spammers have found our group :-(

We have a choice of two methods to prevent spam:

1) memberships must be approved
2) messages must be approved

Both impose slight delays on group activity. My inclination
would be to use method #1, as it has the least day-to-day impact.

If there is no strong opinion from the current norcalvex members,
I will use the "approved membership" method ...
