Mercury will be easily visible in the west the next few weeks during twilight.
I have observed it the last 2 nights climbing higher in the west each night and
presenting a sizable disk in my 12" newtonian. In coming weeks it will progress
through phases just like venus did earlier this year becoming crescent shaped
before being lost in the glare of the sun near mid May.
