Comets Holmes and Tuttle both seen in northern skies   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #97 of 111 |
Hi,
Comet Holmes can still be seen near Algol in Perseus with the naked
eye and Comet Tuttle is moving south out of Aries and is also visible
naked eye on a dark night. Both comets are easy to see with binoculars.
Holmes is much larger covering 83' of sky (more than 2 full moons)
while Tuttle is smaller and less diffuse.
