Description

In October, 2005, Apple Computer released an iPod that plays video. This not-a-video-iPod device garnered immediate interest by video producers around the world interested in producing video for the not-a-video-iPod.

This email list was formed so people interested in producing video (and other multimedia) for the not-a-video-iPod can have a forum to share tips and techniques.

The techniques shared on this list will include techniques for getting video from a TiVo onto a new iPod, converting Flash files to a format for viewing on the new iPod, converting screencasts for viewing on the new iPod, as well as ways of using OpenOffice Impress to create narrated slideshows for viewing on the new iPod.

This list is a moderated list, so list members don't need to wade thru spam.

For simplicity sake, the not-a-video iPod will be referred to as the new iPod on this email list.

People interested in following this list, but not participating in it, can subscribe to the feed for the list from the XML icon over at the bottom right.
