Apex Systems is currently looking for a mid-level Web Developer for a temp to
perm opportunity located in Herndon, VA (about 3 miles off of the Toll Road/FFX
County Pkwy exit)


Our client is looking for a well rounded web developer to help in support of two
applications, along with new development and re-writing of those applications.
Our client has two large apps that are used for customer support (one for
billing, one for general customer care information). One of the applications is
an XML gateway, and one is written in Java. During the first 1-2 months of this
assignment, this person will be responsible for familiarizing themselves with
the systems and providing recommendations for maintenance and support. After
that, they will be heavily involved in re-writing and converting the Java
application to Ruby on Rails.
