I was pretty darned impressed with the new iPhone firmware features
previewed today. If you haven't seen them all, there are plenty of
places on the interwebs with the info, though this list seems pretty
concise:

Well, as you can see, the URL isn't concise, but the write-up is.
They've addressed my main complaints: notes sync, device-wide search,
cut and paste, landscape keyboard, plus lots more. Maybe I'll have to
jump now. Or maybe I'll wait until the 3d generation hardware comes
out in June, or July. Or will I be too impressed with the Palm Pre,
and go for that instead? And just when I had narrowed down to either a
WinMo or a Blackberry device, too.

Anyone up for an informal meeting this Saturday? It's been a long time
since we got together. System-wide search on my T3 tells me it was
last July 12 when we last got together. Is that right? Coulda sworn we
got together sometime in the fall.
