I had some trouble to create icons, but finally I discovered an easy way:
1) create your icon using INKSCAPE. Adjust drawing size to 44px x 44px or less
2) save in SVG format
3) in NSBASIC, project properties, launcher icon s60, choose the svg file you created
4) compile and be happy
Maybe you have to make some minor adjustment in colors and size. An SVG model is attached.
