OK I ran it, and it pops up the continues, ending in displaying the
proper name I am seeking, as the final pop-up, BUT the file still
doesn't rename, it stays as "0001.txt"

The renamed file is being stored in the NoteTab folder

"C:\Documents and Settings\Jeff Scism\Application Data\NoteTab
Std\s\smith-h-r.htm"

So I see I have to reassign it to my NoteTab default save location.
