I have again been putting some HSMM information on the internet and have
uploaded 2 self created files to wikimedia commons. These are small "band
charts" that show the hsmm, part15, and AMSAT frequencies relative to one
another. They can be found at :
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Hsmmnet-freq-sharing-5.8.gif and
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Hsmmnet-freq-sharing-2.4.gif. I'm
shure these will come in handy for presentations. If they are inaccurate in
any way (besides not being to scale, I already know) please let me know.
I have also been looking into the 2.4-to-3.4GHz transverters that are
available online and was wondering if anyone has used these and what the
lowest price around is. I have found one from HyperWireless for $455, but
that is the lowest so far and still a bit too expensive for my taste.
An off note... does anyone know when the FCC will start handing out vanity
callsigns again? It seems I have been waiting forever... thanks
Happy Hamming,
John KF4YFD
